5-Day Tour • Fes → Merzouga → Marrakech
Start in Fes, travel via Midelt and the Ziz Valley to Merzouga for dinner and a hotel night by the dunes. Day 2 explores Erg Chebbi by 4×4, Khamlia Gnawa music and Dayet Srij, then a sunset camel trek to a Sahara camp. Day 3 visits Rissani and Ziz palm groves before reaching the winding Dades Gorge. Day 4 follows the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs via Skoura, Ouarzazate and UNESCO‑listed Aït Ben Haddou, crossing Tizi n'Tichka to Marrakech. Day 5 is a guided tour of the Red City: Bahia Palace, Koutoubia, souks, Majorelle Garden and more.
Pick‑up from your riad. Drive via Middle Atlas to Midelt (lunch), continue through Errachidia and Erfoud (famous for dates) to Merzouga. Dinner & overnight at a hotel near the dunes.
4×4 loop: Khamlia for Gnawa music & tea, visit a nomad family, and the seasonal Lake Dayet Srij (flamingos in season). Late afternoon camel trek across Erg Chebbi for sunset. Campfire music, dinner & overnight in a nomad‑style tent.
Sunrise over the dunes; camel back to the village for shower & breakfast. Explore Rissani market and taste Berber pizza (if you like). Walk through the Ziz palm groves, then continue to Dades Gorge for dinner & overnight in Boumalne.
Drive the Road of 1000 Kasbahs via Skoura (Kasbah Amridil), reach Ouarzazate (Atlas Studios & Taourirt, time permitting), then visit Aït Ben Haddou (UNESCO). Cross the High Atlas over Tizi n'Tichka (2,260 m). Arrive Marrakech; dinner & overnight at a riad.
Discover the Bahia Palace, Koutoubia mosque (exterior), Saadian Tombs, souks and Jemaa el‑Fna. Visit the Majorelle Garden (optional entrance). Evening free; overnight at your riad/hotel.
