4-Day Tour • Fes → Merzouga → Marrakech
From Fes through Ifrane and Azrou to Merzouga, enjoy cedar forests, Ziz Valley vistas and a relaxing first night at a riad near the dunes. Day 2 explores the Erg Chebbi area by 4×4 and Khamlia village, then a sunset camel trek to your Sahara camp. Day 3 visits the dramatic Todra Gorge and continues to the winding Dades Gorge for the night. Day 4 follows the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs via Skoura, Ouarzazate and UNESCO‑listed Aït Ben Haddou, crosses Tizi n'Tichka to arrive in Marrakech.
08:00 pick‑up. Drive via Ifrane and Azrou (cedar forest, Barbary macaques) to Midelt over Tizi n'Talghamt, then through Ziz Gorges, Errachidia and Erfoud. Arrive Merzouga for mint‑tea welcome and check‑in at a riad near the dunes. Dinner & overnight.
After breakfast, 4×4 circuit around Erg Chebbi: irrigation gardens at Hassi Labied, seasonal Lake Dayet Srij (flamingos in season), Khamlia for Gnawa music & tea, visit a nomad family and the volcanic hamada near Yasmina. Late afternoon, switch to camels for a sunset ride to your desert camp. Dinner, music and stargazing. Overnight in a nomad‑style tent.
Sunrise over the dunes, camel back to the village for shower & breakfast. Drive to Todra Gorge for a walk beneath towering cliffs, then continue along the Dades Valley to the winding gorge ("monkey fingers"). Dinner & overnight in a traditional kasbah/riad.
Follow the Road of 1000 Kasbahs via Skoura and Kasbah Amridil, reach Ouarzazate (Atlas Studios & Taourirt, time permitting). Explore UNESCO‑listed Aït Ben Haddou, then cross the High Atlas over Tizi n'Tichka (2,260 m). Evening drop‑off in Marrakech.
